language of the eyes

love is such an overrated word. we use it interchangeably for so many different things, that sometimes it makes me double check or question if im using it for the right definition or not. and with all its different forms and definitions you kind of lose meaning behind what it really means. perhaps it means different things for different people but if i had to simplify and bring it to one unique and singular meaning, even though it wont be perfect and complete because, well, love is a million things, but if i had to, i would say its the language of the eyes and the way they communicate the most unsaid and unfelt of things and feelings and emotions, so easily and effortlessly. and i know eyes are overrated too perhaps, but they deserve the attention. i may sound like i am obsessed, but do you realise how you forget words, but eyes you wont. you would notice them in a crowd of thousands, its almost as if they emit a force so strong its hard to break out of it. once you lock eyes with someone, its hard to break that contact. they say hands have a language of their own, and even though i could write a whole paragraph on that too, but right now, if i compare, its as hard to break contact between eyes as between hands. and isn’t that beautiful? much like fingerprints, each of us have a unique pair of eyes and yet i would remember yours in a sea of millions. i know some might argue even if they are all biologically unique, they all more or less look the same. but maybe they haven’t seen yours then.
