we often think of beauty as things that are seen, closeting our imaginations, drawing maps along the lines of sunsets that caught our eyes or the patterns the night sky forms or perhaps how blue the water looks today, capturing it, saving it or merely attempting to. not realising beauty cant be placed in a box, a description of a scenery, only timeless, there one second and gone the other. beauty, you see, is in what the color of the sky in the early morning dusk makes you feel or how your heart holds a place in memory, only from a certain angle because that feels closer to you in ways other angles perhaps don’t. maybe you see it the way you do and its just you. maybe the one next to you feels different and so what if beauty is not a subject to be seen or captured, but perhaps beauty is a memory you hold, against trivialities such as time, distance, energy, memory, decay. it certainly isn’t fleeting, it certainly lasts longer. it certainly beats with you alongside your heartbeat everyday just to remind you, its beauty. it doesn’t come easy, neither does it leave that soon.
