way out

with faith, you find a way out. with prayer, hope re-emerges from cupboards left locked and hearts left fastened to our chests since ages: to protect to protect to protect. why and from what are questions asked since millennia but never answered except in indirect ways, ways one cannot describe or point out from the surface of things but if looked closely and deliberately, can be seen without any biases. all curtains of uncertainty and doubt come open loose and everything that you feared or didn’t know, presents itself in front of you. a sight as such frightens you, unsettles you, shakes you, except the one piece of shiny metal you always carry with you, you carry it with you unbeknownst, you carry it with you even before fear planted its roots inside you, to protect you in situations you have never been in, to give you comfort. to give you strength. i call that shiny metal, that small piece of armor, hope. no matter how big you or your fears get, that piece, which comes with no price or value attached to it, that piece which cannot be bought or bargained for in any markets of the world, that piece you carry will always be enough to get you through, hope will always be enough, if only you pray and believe.
